Good day Heads of Golf and Parents.
To receive the information and newsletters of the Central Gauteng Cubs tournaments for 2016, please register by clicking on the CGC logo on the website.
The “Primary School Cubs” PSC which is the official division of Central Gauteng Golf Union (CGGU) will receive their official Provincial Colours if they are chosen for the CGC team to play the Inter Provincial Primary Schools Golf Championships in December 2015.
Venues
· Interprovincial Primary School Championships (School Teams Mixed) - (30 Nov – 1 Dec 2015) - 4 players, 3 scores to count (boys and girls mixed) at Waterkloof Golf Club, Pretoria.
· Interprovincial Primary School Championships (School Teams Girls) – (30 Nov – 1 Dec 2015) - 2 girls per school at Waterkloof Golf Club, Pretoria.
· Interprovincial Primary School Championships (Boys)– (7 Dec – 8 Dec 2015) – 12 Players per province 10 scores to count at Koro Creek Golf Estate, Nylstroom, Limpopo
· Interprovincial Primary School Championships (Girls) – (7 Dec – 8 Dec 2015) – 6 Players 4 scores to count at Koro Creek Golf Estate, Nylstroom, Limpopo.
This will be the first time CGGU will present the primary school golfers with official colours and the Heads of golf, teachers and parents are requested to inform the golfers of this first time privilege to represent the Central Gauteng Province.
Central Gauteng Trials: There will be another 2 tournaments where the primary school golfers will be able to qualify for a spot to be chosen for the Central Gauteng team. The scores throughout the year’s league games, SA under 13’s and various sanctioned tournament’s results will be used on the order of merit.
The top 10 boys will receive their spot and 2 wild cards will be chosen for the CGC OOM.
The top 4 girls will receive their spot and 2 wild cards will be chosen for the CGC OOM.
Only the best 3 scores on OOM will be used for team selection and 2 wild cards.
